Hello boys and girls, I'm Martino, of the school of villanova mondovì, in the 2°a. I did this page for the "Web2" course with Camilla, Paolo, Filippo and some other people. In my first "post", I introduce myself.

 

Well...

 

I'm tall and quite fat. My eyes are brown like my hair. I'm musical,thoughtful and quite jolly, but annoying.I'm very crazy, and I like it ! I like very much English and Maths. I like reading books and playing the guitar.I'm on Facebook and on Messenger.I use the computers quite well, for Internet, Web, homework and texts.I like very much animals.I have a lot of cats, and I like the younger very much.My family is very big. My mother is a housewife, my father is an owner of a company, my brothers are informatic and artist.

I often play with my brothers, because we are a sort of "band" with two guitar and one drum. I like very much "the Beatles" and their songs.Well, I have nothing to say...thanks for reading this post !

In the English lesson of today, we, the 2°a, we saw a lot of personality adjectives. We saw them in this page :Adjectives

Several weeks ago,we started to study the simple past, and we listened to Yesterday, of the Beatles,

To learn the past. Then we learned the past,dividing it into two parts : good news and bad news.

The good news was the normal past,where you have to put "ED" after the verb (for learn it we ate two chocolate letters).

The bad news was that not all verbs in the past are so, and that irregular verbs each have a different paradigm.

Today, in the english lesson, we study personalities and moods. There are a lot of them...

Then we make a "MOODometer", an indicator of mood. Is this :

Here you are some errors that may occur, for the first and second classes :

 

1 - Con la parola "Hair" si mette sempre IS e mai ARE !

2 - Quando si esprimono preferenze usando dei verbi, bisogna sempre mettere i verbi+ING

3 -"With" significa "Con", ma per esprimere il movimento con un mezzo di trasporto (bici,macchina,bus...) bisogna sempre mettere "By" .

4 - "Very well" si mette sempre dopo il complemento oggetto perchè non bisogna mai separare verbo e complemento.

 

Esempi delle regole spiegate : 

1- His hair IS brown, long and straight.

2-My favourite hobby is readING books, playING the guitar...

3-Every day I go to school BY bus.

4-He can play the piano VERY WELL.

There are 4 types of tenses, and are the most important. They are :

 

_Simple present

_Present continuous

_Simple past

_Past continuous 

 

-Simple present or Present simple:

 

Questo tempo viene usato per descrivere le azioni abituali di tutti i giorni.

Le regole sono piuttosto semplici, anche se sicuramente più complesse delle regole degli altri tre tempi verbali.

 

-Nella forma affermativa si aggiunge al verbo riferito alla terza persona (He,She,It) una "S", che viene rappresentata simbolicamente con un serpente, e alle altre persone (I,You,We,They) non si aggiunge niente.

 

Affermative form : He, she, It        = soggetto +  verbo +S 

                      I, You, We, They = soggetto +  verbo

 

Si fa eccezione non mettendo la "S" solo dopo il verbo "Can"

 

-Nella forma negativa si aggiunge fra il soggetto e il verbo riferito alla terza persona  "doesn't" e fra il soggetto e il verbo riferito alle altre persone "don't".

 

Negative form : He, She, It          = soggetto + Doesn't+verbo

                  I, You, We, They    = soggetto + Does+verbo

 

-Nella forma interrogativa si aggiunge davanti alla terza persona "Does" e davanti alle altre persone "Do".

 

Interrogative form : He, She, It         = Does+soggetto+verbo                          I, You, We, They  = Do+soggetto+verbo

 

Quindi, per concludere brevemente questo tempo verbale, le regole sono queste :

 

He, She, It, affermative form = "S"

I, You, We, They, affermative form = Niente di niente

 

He, She, It, negative form = doesn't

I, You, We, They, negative form = does

 

He, She, It, interrogative form = does

I, You, We, They, interrogative form = do

 

Per descrivere il momento in cui si fanno queste azioni ci sono degli avverbi di tempo che si mettono prima del verbo e sono :

 

Always                    Sempre

Usually                   Usualmente

Often                      Spesso

Sometimes              A volte

Hardly ever             Quasi mai

Never                        Mai

Once,twice a week

 

 

-Present Continuous

 

Questo tempo viene usato per descrivere azioni che si stanno facendo in questo medesimo istante o in questo lasso di tempo in cui mi trovo adesso (ad esempio "In questi giorni di vacanza"). Le regole sono veramente,veramente semplici .

 

-nella forma affermativa si ha bisogno di due elementi : il verbo "To be", rappresentato da un ape (BEe) , e il verbo+ing, chiamato "Verboing" e rappresentato da un aereo (BOeING).

 

Affermative form : soggetto+"to be"+verboing

                      I           Am     studyING

 

-nella forma interrogativa si fa un inversione fra il soggetto e il verbo "to be" .

 

Interrogative form : "to be"+soggetto+verboing   ? 

                        Am       I        studyING  ?

 

- nella forma negativa si aggiunge "not" dopo il verbo "to be".

 

Negative form : soggetto+"to be"+not+verboing                    

                   I          Am    not  studying

 

Come vedete questa forma è molto semplice e utile per descrivere le azioni che si fanno in questo momento.

 

Anche per questo tempo verbale ci vogliono degli avverbi di tempo, che in questo caso sono:

 

In this moment              in questo momento

(Right) now                   (proprio) adesso

At present                   Al momento,al presente

 

-Simple past

 

Il simple past l'avevo già accennato con il video "Yesterday" e spiegando cosa avevamo fatto in una lezione di inglese.

Comunque anche se l'ho già detto, posso ancora ripassare le regole :

 

In tutte le forme del simple past basta coniugare il verbo nel modo regolare,cioè aggiungendo "ED" alla fine, oppure nel modo irregolare, cioè con il proprio paradigma.

 

Anche in questo tempo ci sono degli avverbi di tempo :

 

Last night,evening,morning,saturday ecc...

In 1998,1999,2000 ecc...

In the past

When i was......years old

A few days,months,seasons,weeks,years ago

 

-Past continuous 

 

Questo tempo verbale unisce present continuous e past simple, e le regole sono anche qui piuttosto semplici, anche se bisogna ragionarci un po', perchè bisogna applicare le regole di entrambi i tempi.

Comunque la regola principale è questa:

 

Past continuous = Soggetto+"to be" coniugato al passato"+verboing

                                    

                             I                           Was                     eating

 

Gli avverbi di tempo di questo tempo sono gli stessi del simple past.
